Ingredients: (Servings - 3 or 4)
Basmati Rice- cups

For paneer marination: (adjust spices according to your taste)
Thick curd/Yogurt -1/2 cup
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 1tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi- handful
Coriander cumin powder - 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1/2tsp
lemon juice - 1 tsp
salt- 1tsp( as per taste)

For Fried Onions:
Onions - 2 medium
oil- 1 tbsp (if airfried) or as needed for deepfried

For Rice:
Water- 3 liters
Whole spices :
Bay leaves- 2 or 3
Shah jeera - 1 tsp
Cloves- 4
Green cardamom- 4
Black cardamom- 2
Cinnamon stick- 1 big
Star anise- 2
Javitri (optional)- 1

For Biryani:
Shah jeera- 1/2 tsp
Onion- 1 big
Green chilies- 4
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Peas- 1/2 cup
Mint and coriander - chopped
saffron - for color
